About the Role

MarketCo is a Daakye Digital venture — a new mobile money super agent entering the market with a mandate to build and operate the country's highest-performing agent network. We are looking for an experienced operator to lead this buildout on the ground. As Head of Agent Network Operations, you will be responsible for standing up the full agent ecosystem across your territory — covering POS shops, kiosks, and indirect agents.

What You'll Do

  • Own end-to-end agent network performance across your territory — activation, float management, transaction volumes, and compliance
  • Recruit, onboard, and directly manage Territory Supervisors and the field team under you including rebalancers and TDRs
  • Drive month-on-month growth in active agents, cash-in/cash-out volumes, and airtime distribution
  • Ensure agents maintain minimum operating balances and adhere to partner MNO standards and the agent manual
  • Manage Kiosk, Partners and Superagent relationships — dispute resolution, service quality, float rebalancing
  • Co-own the daily close-of-business (COB) reporting process — ensure all territory agents submit accurate end-of-day position reports, float balances, and transaction reconciliations on time, every day without exception
  • Drive adoption of the Co Channels app and all other digital tools across the agent network — you are accountable for onboarding agents onto the platform, troubleshooting adoption blockers, and pushing utilization rates as a core KPI
  • Work closely with the Finance and Float Controller on working capital deployment and leakage control
  • Represent MarketCo with local stakeholders, regulators, and community partners as needed

What We're Looking For

  • 5+ years in mobile money agent network operations — Super Agent or Airtime Distribution Co (MTN MoMo, Vodacom, Wave, or equivalent)
  • Proven track record managing large agent or distributor networks (500+ agents preferred)
  • Strong people leader — you've hired, developed, and held field teams accountable in demanding environments
  • Data-driven — comfortable owning daily reporting cadences and holding teams accountable to numbers
  • Experience driving digital tool adoption at the field level is a strong plus
  • Comfortable in a startup — you build processes, you don't wait for them
  • West African market experience strongly preferred; Senegal, Ghana, Sierra Leone, Nigeria background particularly relevant
  • Fluent English; French a bonus

What We Measure You On

  • Active agent count and month-on-month growth
  • Transaction volume and float utilization across territory
  • Co Channels app adoption rate across agent network
  • Agent compliance and audit scores

What's on Offer

  • Competitive package including accommodation
  • Performance bonus tied to network growth and transaction volume targets
